Bring the classroom to the countryside!
Your students will spend the day at Hopkins Farm Creamery in Lewes, Delaware, where Heslep’s Coastal Cattle and the Creamery team join forces to deliver a one-of-a-kind agricultural adventure.
This partnership blends hands-on cattle education with behind-the-scenes ice cream magic, giving kids a learning experience they’ll remember long after the bus ride home.
The Experience
During this two-hour visit, students rotate through three interactive stations, guided by our combined Heslep's Coastal Cattle & Hopkins Farm Creamery Crew

🐄 Meet the Cows – Brush, feed, and learn fun facts about both dairy and beef cows from the Heslep family.

🚜 Tractor Ride – Enjoy a guided ride across Hopkins Farm’s scenic pastures while we share how we graze and care for our herd.

🍦 Ice Cream & Dairy Tour – Step inside the Hopkins Creamery production room to watch ice cream go from fresh milk to delicious scoop.
