Meet Steph
Hi, I’m Stephanie Heslep, founder of Heslep’s Coastal Cattle and lifelong cattle enthusiast. My journey with cows began over a decade ago, and what started as a passion quickly grew into a career of teaching, breeding, and building community through agriculture.
I became a Certified Artificial Insemination Technician in 2013, and since then I’ve personally bred thousands of cows—both beef and dairy—across the Northeast. Along the way, I’ve taught over 1,000 students the art and science of cattle breeding, from brand-new farmers to seasoned dairy producers. Education is at the heart of what I do, whether it’s through hands-on training, classroom-style instruction, or community field trips designed to connect youth with agriculture.
My husband Rob and I started Heslep’s Coastal Cattle with a mission:

To serve and support fellow farmers with breeding and AI services

To open our farm gates through cow experiences and ag education, inspiring the next generation and breaking down stereotypes about farming

Meet Rob & Our Family.
We are a family of four with a passion for cows, agriculture, and education! Robert and I met on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania, sharing a love for hard work and the outdoors.
In 2018, we moved to Southern Delaware to continue working on a large dairy farm. When it closed, we were heartbroken and unsure of our next steps. I began working as an Artificial Insemination Trainer and Reproduction Analyst, while Robert took on the role of Distribution Manager at a local creamery. Though we enjoyed our work, we missed working together.
After our daughter’s birth in November 2023, we knew it was time for a change. We left our jobs and founded Heslep’s Coastal Cattle to pursue our dream of working together again.
We are excited to bring our ideas to life and connect with our community through Snuggle Sessions with our cows and educational farm experiences. Join us as we make this dream a reality, delivering live events and valuable products for your family!
